MALCOLM DANARE
Malcolm Danare plays bad boy Moochie in the movie Christine.

“THE LORDS OF DISCIPLINE,” for Paramount Pictures was Malcolm’s film debut. He played the dramatic role of ‘Poteete.’ The portrayal earned Danare a GOLDEN GLOBE nomination for Best Newcomer that year. Danare’s next film for Paramount was the Iconic, “FLASHDANCE.”
MALCOLM went on to star and co-star in a diverse collection of films. Mel Brooks’ “ROBINHOOD MEN IN TIGHTS,” Walter Hill’s “CROSSROADS,” Amy Heckerling’s “EUROPEAN VACATION,” Michael Dinner’s, “HEAVEN HELP US” (aka “CATHOLIC BOYS”) Bob Clark and Mark Herrier’s “POPCORN” and John Carpenter’s horror classic “CHRISTINE,” playing the role of Moochie Welch. Malcolm also co-starred in Columbia Picture’s “GODZILLA” and its animated television series, playing the role of Dr. Mendel Craven.
Malcolm recurred in the hit CBS series CSI MIAMI, playing the villain, Ned Ostroff.
Recently, Malcolm starred in “SMOTHERED,” a horror farce directed by John Schneider. He co-starred in “AMERICAN JUSTICE,” a crime drama.
He co-starred in “THE MARTINI SHOT” a wacky comedy. He also co-starred in “THE TAKER” a modern-day horror film and co-starred in “WTF” (World Thumb-Wrestling Federation) a comedy spoof.
Danare has also produced several films. “AMIELIA 2.0,” A science fiction set in the future. “THE TAKER” and “CHASTISE,” both Horror films. And “WTF” (World Thumb-Wrestling Federation).
As a voice over actor, Malcolm also played the character of Kipling, in the hit cartoon series, “MONSTER HIGH.” He was also the voice of Tiny, in the cartoon, “EVER AFTER HIGH” for Nickelodeon.
In 2008, Malcolm wrote the critically acclaimed play, “IN HEAT.” The Los Angeles Times referred to Danare as the new Woody Allen. The play was adapted into a movie, by the same name.
